May 1, 2013 Young America is making way for a new finish palette and will be discontinuing colors to make room for new ones. ALL orders for the following colors need to be placed by May 31, 2013 in order to receive your goods. Below are the colors that are being discontinued Discontinued Colors: Cinnamon, Peach, Shell Surf Blue, Lilac, Sky Blue, Sour Apple, Tangerine, Cotton Candy, Sea Grass, Sunflower May 1, 2013 In addition, Young America is also discontinuing some products from their product line. To receive these items orders need to be placed by May 31, 2013. Below are the items being discontinued. Discontinued Products: All Seasons: Wardrobe and Writing Desk Beds: Sleigh Bed Twin and Full Isabella: Dressing Chest and Writing Desk Mix: Dressing Chest and Writing Desk My Haven: Writing Desk Dana: Open Bookcase, Drawer Bookcase, Scooter Desk, Nesting Media Chest Taylor: Student Chair Drew: Desk Chair Ollie: Round Mirror Abigail: Writing Desk Harbour Town: Armoire, Table Desk, Banks Footboard and Headboards (twin and full) April 3, 2013 This recall involves the Eat High Chair, model BH2104 (located on a label at the back of the high chair), sold in 3 different colours: orange, red and black. The front opening between the tray and seat bottom of the high chair can allow a child’s body to pass through and become entrapped at the neck. This poses a strangulation hazard to young children when the child is not harnessed. Neither Health Canada nor Kushies Baby has received any reports of incidents or injuries to children related to the use of this high chair. February 15, 2013 The white button on the carry handle may pop out when the Bugaboo Cameleon or Bugaboo Donkey pram body is placed on the ground or on an unstable surface. This may cause the carry handle to detach and result in a potential fall hazard and choking hazard. Bugaboo International BV has received 58 incidents of the carry handle white buttons failing in North America with no reported injuries. December 12, 2012 This recall involves all Baby Jogger City Versa model strollers manufactured betweenMay 15 and August 20, 2012. The date of manufacture is printed on the stroller's black plastic side hinge below "Baby Jogger" and "City Versa" is also printed on the stroller's fabric in the child's leg area. The strollers have charcoal-colored metal frames with black, silver, red or green fabric stroller seats and canopies. The stroller frame can fail to lock in place and collapse while in use, posing a fall hazard to children in the stroller. Baby Jogger has received 6 reports from consumers and retailers in the United States. There have been no reports of incidents in Canada. The first incident occurring on August 21, 2012. All of the incidents involve reports of the stroller's folding mechanism not functioning. There have been no reports of any injuries. November 16, 2012 Health Canada has issued a recall on the KidCo PeaPod. Please contact KidCo to receive a FREE repair kit. New instructions and warning labels will advise parents that the Peapod should only be used with children who are 1 year of age or older, even after using the repair kit. November 5, 2012 Britax Child Safety, Inc. announced today that it is conducting a voluntary safety recall on select Britax Boulevard 70-G3, Pavilion 70-G3, and Advocate 70-G3 convertible car seats in the USA and Boulevard 65-G3, Pavilion 65-G3, and Advocate 65-G3 convertible (infant/child) car seats in Canada manufactured between June 1, 2012 and August 31, 2012 with the following model numbers: Canada: E9LK11A, E9LK11M, E9LK11S, E9LK13P, E9LK13S, E9LK41A, E9LK41Q, E9LK42D, E9LK42Z, E9LK43Q E9LG91A, E9LG93N, E9LG93P, E9LG93X, E9LG93Y October 20, 2012 Health Canada has put out a safety advisement for the Kidco Peapod. If you have Ma Marie or Basecamp in your child's room and want to complete the look, orders need to be placed by October 11, 2012. ![]() July 24, 2012 On July 24, 2012 the United Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of several models of strollers due to the death that occurred in the United States of a 6 month old baby by entrapment and strangulation in 2004 (Peg Perego U.S.A. Inc. was not notified of this death until July 2010). The child was not restrained and was sleeping unattended in the stroller. These strollers met all Canadian regulations at that time and also meet the current regulations. Neither Health Canada nor Peg Perego Canada have received any reports of Canadian fatalities or injuries related to the affected models.
