Why is Dr. Mom,s bath over oatmeal bath?

Oatmeal baths typically have 3-5% beta-glucan, which has been shown to be effective for the treatment of eczema but Dr. Mom,s technology allows extraction of 23% beta-glucan from barley!

Ingredients: 23% beta-glucan extracted from barley

DIRECTIONS:

• Turn warm water faucet on to full force. Use 2 scoops for a small bath (infant tub) or 5 scoops for a bath tub. (One scoop is equivalent to one tablespoon).
• Slowly sprinkle the scoop of the bath treatment directly under the faucet into the tub or container.
• For use as a soak in a bath: Soak affected area for 15 to 30 minutes as needed, or as directed by a doctor.
• Pat skin dry (do not rub) to keep a thin layer on the skin.

Beta-Glucan Cream (237 mL)

INGREDIENTS:

Active Ingredients: Beta-Glucan (Barley Derived) 0.5%

Inactive Ingredients: Water, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Petrolatum, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 80, Phenoxyethanol

DIRECTIONS:

• Test a small amount on skin. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician.
• Apply gently over affected area as needed, or as directed by a doctor.
