Kinderboard
This multi-use toy piece was originally used by many children as well as our Kinderfeets creator in Waldorf early childhood classrooms. It was created to help children develop a sense of balance, stimulate their vestibular system, and gain a deep sense of awareness of their body and body parts.
Our German beechwood Kinderboard is Dutch designed and it’s excellent for stimulating child development—both physical and mental—and offers open-ended play opportunities for toddlers, children, teens, and even adults. It can hold up to 220kg/485lbs! The Kinderboard has water-based lacquer and can be used both indoors and out, perfect for rainy and sunny days at home or in a school environment.
Watch the child’s imagination take over once their Kinderboard arrives. It becomes a seesaw, a balance board, a slide, a step stool, a boat, a resting place, a doll bed, a puppet stage, a tunnel and many more opportunities for them to explore. The possibilities are endless—and truly up to them!

- Water-based lacquer in natural beech, bamboo, and 6 non-toxic colors.

Lots for toddlers to exploreI see that my 16M daughter is still playing with this the way we play with this. But she also started doing little explorations like knocking on it, moving her bum left and right while sitting on it, etc. she's trying to see what she can do with it! it's not what we were expecting and i think she's gonna find more fun ways to play with it as she grows! It was a good purchase!

Lots of playBought this and both my kids (1.5 years and 5 years old) love it. They don't generally play with the same thing so when I saw them playing together with the kinderboard (racing cars with the kinderboard propped up on the couch, sitting together while rocking back and forth, and taking turns balancing on the "moving bridge" etc), my heart melts. Even my husband got into the action as he does his balancing exercise on the kinderboard. A toy that can be used by all ages (including myself :))

We love itAll three of my boys love it ages 1, 4 and 6 they have discovered 100 different ways to play with it. We have loved downsizing our big loud plastic toys to more Montessori style toys and this was a great addition!

Endless Opportunities!I bought this for my 2.5yr old son for an indoor play/exercise activity on rainy days. I knew he would like it, but didn’t expect to see his imagination develop so much! He saw a bridge he could walk on and race his cars off of; then he realized he could slide down it (and with help from mom his slide could grow taller on the seat of a sofa so it became something he could climb too); then he realized he could flip it over and surf on it or teeter totter with his sister. He’s discovered so many new applications since that first day. Opportunities are endless!

Open ended play!Purchased this during coronavirus times to try and expand his play time while I worked. He uses it in so many ways and loves! He lies on it, rocking, he slides off it, walks up and down it, rolls cars down, or rocks them in it. My partner was thought it was going to be a useless toy, but he admits to having been proven wrong! Our son is about 21 months old.
